Senate Panel: “There is no doubt that Russia undertook an unprecedented effort to interfere with our 2016 elections.”

Reading Time: 2 minutes While most expected the Senate committee to yield different results  than the House Committee did, the degree to which this report raises alarm is surprising. It doesn’t say “maybe” it happened. The Senate committee clearly states Russian meddling did happen. It’s impossible to calculate the impacts of that meddling. However, it’s also impossible to suggest that Russian influence didn’t factor into seating Donald Trump in the White House.  The words “Illegitimate President” seem less inflammatory when the House Intelligence Committee and the Intelligence Community publicly acknowledge significant and sophisticated meddling by a foreign government.

Awaken a Sleeping Giant: Trump Has Set a Fire in Jerusalem He Can’t Control

Reading Time: 3 minutes So for today, while Ivanka and husband are posing for the cameras and doing a media tour, trigger-happy Isreali soldiers are pushing peace further and further off the table. Isis and other groups will take a different approach than the peaceful protestors to defeat the Israelis and the U.S. by default. There will be no shortage of “martyrs”. There never is.

There are lots of ways to start a war. You can, in fact, start a war at a fancy ribbon-cutting ceremony. You can only push people so far before fighting back is a matter of survival. In the occupied territories, survival on a daily basis is very uncertain.
