On the far right, Trump has been losing support among high-profile allies such as Ann Coulter and Michael Savage, who have harshly criticized the president for failing to follow through with promises to expel migrants, build a wall on the southern border, and restrict legal immigration. Instead, border crossings have increased to historic levels as thousands of refugees continue to arrive from Central America, seeking asylum. Could this be another Trump stunt? Government officials were reportedly surprised by the president’s decision to announce ICE raids on Twitter, which would presumably undercut the effectiveness of any such operation. And yet, for the millions of people living and working in the shadows of America’s legal system, the promise to put the plan in action remains a real, and terrifying, threat.

Mostly, it would kill the Iranians on board the boats and ships targeted by the United States — assuming the conflict didn’t escalate from there. Dozens or even hundreds of lives would be snuffed out as retribution for what, so far, have been acts of property damage. That would be immoral. Read MoreReading Time: 3 minutes Lately I’ve been revisiting the idea of Living Ageless. I was first introduced to this by one of my favorite teachers and writers, Dr. Christiane Northrup in her book Goddesses Never Age, which I’m currently rereading. I highly recommend it if you haven’t already checked it out. Awesome book!
Northrup’s premise is basically that chronological age doesn’t matter nearly as much as we think it does. What makes us feel ‘old’ is our thoughts and the choices we make on a daily or even to moment-to-moment basis. Her book is basically a deep dive into the wise saying, “You’re only as old as you feel.”
Read MoreReading Time: 2 minutes Just when you were getting the hang of having a baby at home, it’s time to go back to work. Beyond the expected changes such as picking work tasks back up and catching up on things you’ve missed, your priorities have most likely shifted now that you’re a parent.
It’s normal for parents to feel anxious about transitioning back to work after having a baby, but they don’t have to do it alone. Most new parents have built-in support systems of friends and family, but if their child will be attending daycare, that structure can provide additional help through the transition.
