Happy 248th birthday, America. Today, we honor a dream born of revolution, whispered in defiance, and etched in the ink of liberty. But as we light the candles on this cake of freedom, I cannot help but wonder: Is this your last birthday, dear Republic?

Once, you were a beacon, a shining city on a hill. Your streets echoed with the footsteps of the free, the hopeful, the weary huddled masses yearning to breathe free. Your Declaration promised life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness—an unalienable triad we swore to defend.

Yet now, shadows grow long across the land of the free. Our political leaders, too old to be in touch with the needs of the people and too feeble to lead, cling to power like ancient relics, their visions dulled by time. Project 2025 looms ominously, a fascist playbook proudly promoted by the right, threatening to unravel the very fabric of our democracy.

Our Supreme Court, illegitimate and unrestrained, has gutted the presidency, paving the way for a dictatorship cloaked in the guise of law. A genocidal president, funding atrocities in plain sight, casts a dark shadow over our nation’s moral standing. And as we look toward the future, we see two presidential candidates no one wants to vote for, a testament to political party structures that have left us with no true choice.

Today, we stand at a precipice. The forces of division, of hatred and intolerance, gather like storm clouds, threatening to drown out the light of reason and compassion. The heart of your promise, dear America, beats faintly beneath the noise of partisanship and fear.

So, on this day of your birth, let us not merely celebrate but also reflect. Let us question, challenge, and demand better. America, may your legacy not be a tale of a dream deferred, but of a nation awakened to its own potential downfall.

Happy birthday, America. May this day remind us all that your true strength lies not in the might of your arms, but in the courage of your ideals. And may we recognize that without action, this could be your final chapter.
