Why killing the Iran deal makes Trump’s North Korea talks much, much harder

Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chair Bob Corker (R-TN), a GOP leader, also says that leaving the Iran deal would make signing a North Korea deal “more difficult.”

Yet Trump plans to remove the US from the Iran accord — where the US lifted financial restrictions on Tehran in exchange for the country freezing its nuclear program — in May. And Trump plans to meet with the North Korean leader by the end of that month, even though Washington and Pyongyang have yet to set a date.

The US expels 60 Russians, closes consulate over Skripal poisoning

Trump orders expulsion of dozens of Russian officials as EU announces 14 member states will ask diplomats to leave.

US President Donald Trump has ordered the expulsion of 60 Russians as the diplomatic dispute between Russia and the UK intensifies over a spy poisoning case.

The United States – backing up its closest ally – also said on Monday it was closing the Russian consulate in Seattle in response to the attempted assassination of former Russian spy Sergei Skripal and his daughter.

Santorum: Parkland students should learn CPR instead of marching

“How about kids, instead of looking to someone else to solve their problem, do something about maybe taking CPR classes or trying to deal with situations [so] that when there is a violent shooter, that you can actually respond to that?” he said during a panel discussion.

Santorum’s comments came a day after hundreds of thousands of people, including high school students from around the country, protested at the March for Our Lives in Washington and at satellite marches around the country. Students from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School organized the march to advocate for stricter gun control laws.
