I don’t need to wait until after the final Kavanaugh vote happens tomorrow to know what tomorrow is.

Saturday, October 6, 2018 will be the day the patriarchy died.
Mark my words.

Sisters, I feel your pain – because we’re all feeling it. I know you have suffered with secrets in the dark. I know your rage is burning in your soul – but I want you to know that rage is sacred. It’s beautiful. It’s fucking holy.

I also want you to know you’re going to be ok. We are going to be ok.

We’re overdue for a revolution and there cannot be a revolution without women — and you know what? Women did not want this. We didn’t want to have to take our rage to a bloody battlefield. We hoped for the evolution of men who would break the patriarchy themselves. They have not. The problem with that is systems of oppression are not sustainable, no matter how badly oppressors want them to be.

So, here we are, at the party they created, the party we weren’t invited to – but we’re here anyway, and we’re going to burn it down.

We’re going to burn it down, not because we’re angry, but because it’s time.
It’s ours to do and they’ve left us no choice but to do it.

The Kavanaugh nomination already feels like a blow. His confirmation will mark a very bad day in a series of bad days. However, this battle will have no impact on the outcome of what’s happening here. The fire, the rage, and the resolve of women has been unveiled and it’s not going away because of a supreme court nominee.

We’re not going away – not for anyone – not this time – not ever again.
We can’t. The Goddess is out of her slumber.

THERE WILL NEVER BE A TORCHBEARER OF THE PATRIARCHY AGAIN IN THE WHITE HOUSE AND WOMEN WILL SEE TO IT.

That doesn’t mean that all women feel this way. There are still daughters of the patriarchy who have to walk their path while we walk ours. My prayer for them is that they are safe while they stand next to abusers.

However, we do not need them.
We do not need their votes.
Nothing they can do or anyone else does will change what’s happening.
Every kingdom of aggressors in the history of mankind has fallen – and now it’s their turn.

Saturday, October 6, 2018 will be the day the patriarchy died – because they have done what they do –
they pushed too far,
they took too much,
they left too much devastation in the wake of their greed.

And now women will end them.

This is not a rallying cry. It’s a fact.
They already rallied us. They called us out. And here we are.

You are living history. Our granddaughters and grandsons will know what we did. They will talk about their ancestors – and in case you’re wondering who will carry us, it’s our ancestors. We’re walking in the arms of the grandmothers who led us here.

I will not write about Kavanaugh nomination again. He’s irrelevant. This isn’t “lose a battle to win a war” – because what they didn’t know is we are just getting started and it’s not a war – it’s a reckoning.
